The institute and the botanic garden
are located at Zollikerstrasse
107. The easiest way to get there
is by public transportation.
If you arrive by train at the
main station take tram number
4 headed to Tiefenbrunnen.
It departs from Bahnhofquai
which is located at the head
end of the long station hall. To
get a ticket press the blue "Stadt Zürich Zone 10" button
of the teller machine which you'll
find right at the tram stop. Have
some change ready! A one-way trip costs CHF 3.60.Get
off at Höschgasse and follow
Höschgasse upwards (you
pass by a Coop shop) until you hit
Zollikerstrasse. The botanic
garden is situated at the opposite
side of the crossing to your
right (see map).
Alternatively you may take the bus number 31 headed to Hegibachplatz. Get off at Hegibachplatz and follow Drahtzugstrasse until you reach Weineggstrasse. Head right uphill towards the garden.
If you are anywhere else in town try to get to either Central or Bellevue, take tram number 4 headed towards Tiefenbrunnen and get off at Höschgasse or tram number 11 towards Rehalp and get off at Hegibachplatz.
